Billie Crisp passed from this earth into the arms of her Heavenly Father on July 7, 2017.
Billie was born in Cushing, Texas on September 26, 1929 to Maggie and Tom Hartless.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Odem. She worked in the school cafeteria of Agua Dulce ISD and she was a sales representative of Avon products from 1965 to 2000, known as “the Avon Lady” in Agua Dulce. She was a very giving person and loved visiting with family and friends. Her hobbies were embroidery of pillowcases and making decorative hangers.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Curtis R. Crisp, four sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her sons, Curtis Allen (Linda) Crisp and Ronnie Glen (Ruby) Crisp; four grandsons, Al (Kasha) Crisp, Ron (Rachel) Crisp, Matt (Melissa) Crisp, and Mark (Cindy) Crisp; one granddaughter, Kelly Jo (Jeff) Osina; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Paula Glover and Maudeen Oehlers, and one brother, Allen Hartless. Billie is also survived by a host of relatives and friends whose lives she touched throughout her life.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Holmgreen Mortuary.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel in Alice, Texas with her son, Curtis Allen Crisp, officiating.
Interment will be follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Alice.
