Anthony “Tony” Taylor, age 67, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017. He was born on November 26, 1949 in Kingsville, Texas to Walter W. Taylor, Sr. and Cora Lee Sherran Taylor.
Tony retired after 45 years of service at Celanese. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Alice and a member of Knights of Columbus Chapter 3389 of Kingsville for 48 years. He loved music and enjoyed providing DJ music for his friends as gifts. Tony and Pam enjoyed “picking” and collecting.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be missed by all who knew him.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents.
He will forever be in the hearts of his loving wife of 21 years, Pam Taylor of Alice; his four sons, Jason (Jeanne) Taylor of Ingleside, Matthew Taylor of Houston, Patrick (Melanie) Taylor of Kingsville, and Rodney (Shelly) Robison of Abeline; his six grandchildren, Jackson, Reagan, Madison, Avery, Emily and Denali; two brothers, Walter W. Taylor, Jr. (Dolores) of Corpus Christi, and Joseph (Susanne) Taylor of Kingwood; three sisters, Jenna Ann (Tim) DeReese of Tomball, Mary Cowger of Corpus Christi, and Beth (Jimmy) Greenwell of Kingsville; sister-in-law, Lynn Hilger of Shertz, and his best friends, Roger and Claire Bates and family.
A Memorial Rosary and Memorial Mass will be celebrated beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Gertrudes Catholic Church in Kingsville with Father Stembler officiating.
